Carrot cake oatmeal

I can't believe I have never tried to make this before! It was so easy and delicious. Perfect warming breakfast when it's freezing outside...

Ingredients: 

•50g oats 
• 1/2 Tbsp cinnamon 
• 1/2 Tbsp ground ginger 
• 1 Tbsp of maple syrup ( optional )
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 
• about one small carrot (grated)
• 150ml almond milk 
•150 ml water 
 
Things you could add: 
- rasins 
- almonds
- chocolate chips (vegan of course)

Method :

- mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl
- put into a sauce pan and cook for about 10 mins on a medium heat, adding more water or almond milk if needed.
- ready to serve :)
